ABOUT

Through the years of study and research I accomplished several various research projects using a variety of desk and laboratory based techniques (CV for potential employers attached). Starting with the research on the floodplain deposits and palinology, going through the micromorphological research on periglacially disturbed deposits finishing with the investigation of glacial sand and gravel I acquired expertise in environmental reconstructions with the ability of anchoring the palaeoenvironmental evolution in the chronological frames. The strong, multidisciplinary background allows me to focus my interests on holistic reconstructions of the past palaeogeographical and palaeoecological conditions and changes, in various terrestrial Quaternary settings. The guiding objective of all my research work is to continue unravelling the complexity of environmental relationships and mechanisms of environmental change in local as well as regional scale. This, I am convinced, will shed light onto the directions of evolution of the landscape in changing environmental conditions in the future.
